While you might not be able to cater to every volunteer’s schedule and preferred role, one way to circumvent this is to diversify volunteering opportunities to have them on different days of the week at different timings to provide volunteers with more options in terms of scheduling their volunteering activities. For example, tutoring opportunities could open up and be held on weekday afternoons and evenings, and weekends subjected to the availability of the particular service-user.
