"Getting-to-know-you" Social Media Series

Introduce yourselves!
Volunteers want to know you and who they are working with. Instead of simply being a contact number, put a face to that number and show some personality on your social media platforms. Consider featuring key personnels that your volunteers will frequently be in touch with, such as volunteer managers and programme directors, and include a short write up about yourselves. This will help volunteers recognise these important individuals from the get-go and reduce any unfamiliarity as they embark on their volunteering journey.
