Show an Action towards Feedback

Feedback will never feel complete, until a form of action is taken. It could be something as small as acknowledgement of an actual change. Showing an action after receiving your volunteers’ feedback amplifies the genuinity and sincerity of your organisation, leaving a positive note in their minds.

Results from the frequent volunteer feedback form or volunteer surveys can be published openly so that volunteers can hear what other volunteers have to say, and concerns can be publicly addressed. This enhances the accountability and trustworthiness of your organisation.

Let volunteers know publicly about the feedback given and the actions taken to change based on their feedback. When making changes, you may even further engage volunteers who have given that feedback to be part of the change. This involvement helps volunteers feel like their feedback is taken seriously, encourages them to further improve your management style for future generation of volunteers, and establish a truthful relationship.
