Corporate Partnership Group

Corporate partnerships are important to all organisations and it can be difficult to constantly liaise with different people each time the need arises. Build up a trustable group of corporations who are interested in your cause and are willing to pledge their long-term support.

This group can consist of multiple Point of Contacts (POCs) that you can reach out to when the need arises, giving them an opportunity to step up and offer their help. This does not mean requiring them to constantly fund your organisation, but giving them the freedom to choose when they want to provide funds or resources.

You can also consider creating long-term partnerships with sponsors who can pledge different amounts annually according to their capability that year.

By requesting for funds, each company can then pledge amounts which make long-term partnerships more sustainable and their yearly expenses manageable, without compromising on your organisation’s total acquired funding.

Some factors you can use to track and evaluate your corporate partners include:

  1. Type of support they are able to provide

  2. Level of participation the organisation intends to undertake

  3. Degree of autonomy given in directing certain event/programmes

  4. Commitment level of your corporate partner

  5. Number of corporate volunteers who converted to direct volunteers

Companies who are a part of this group can also be called on to pledge their support by providing a long-term steady flow of volunteers with their employees. Organisations in return, can provide opportunities for corporations to meet their CSR objectives.

Such groups are also beneficial to the corporations as companies that join the group can officially publicise their support for your organisation, thus improving their CSR efforts and public image.
